  • Description

The memory of the “Guanches” has survived to this day in an endless number of documents, data and testimonies despite the fires, the occultism and oblivion.

The Guanches had feared the Spanish domination in the period immediately after the conquest of Tenerife. We will see their hiding places, they were persecuted because of the uprising at the beginning of the last century - Civil war in Spain – and today with the growing Canaries independence movement, the flame has not been extinguished.

At the wall of “Tagaiga”, which is part of the county of Los Realejos, with the lush forests of Laurel and heather, many of the things that happened in the past on this route will astound you. Day of activity: Friday

    Walking time: 3 hours

    Difficulty: Easy

    Price per person: 36€
